Background
My background spans the pharmaceutical industry, building healthcare businesses, and developing registries and clinical decision support. That makes it natural to connect an idea with its practical implications early.
Built Health Solutions over more than two decades, working with clinical quality registries, decision support and collaboration around health data between healthcare and the pharmaceutical industry. The company was acquired by BCB Medical.
Experience of establishing and scaling dose dispensing in a market where regulation, logistics, procurement and patient safety all need to work together. The company was acquired by Oriola.
Experience of developing clinical decision support using health data and technology, with a clear connection to needs and workflows in clinical practice.
Developed medical customer support and treatment adherence services for pharmacies and pharmaceutical companies. The business was sold to ICT Health Support in 2015.
Assignments have included feasibility studies, health data mapping, stakeholder interviews, governance and implementation planning. Experience spans Nordic healthcare and the UK market, including hepatology, and brings a broad understanding of how healthcare needs, industry questions and the possibilities in health data can come together.
Extensive experience of clinical quality registries, clinical decision support and health data partnerships between healthcare and the pharmaceutical industry. Work covers RWD/RWE, feasibility studies and follow-up of treatments and outcomes in the Nordics and the UK.
For several years, Health Insights’ Joakim Söderberg has taught an annually recurring RWD course organised by Läkemedelsakademien together with Professor Björn Wettermark. We also deliver tailored training on site at clients’ premises.
